We looked at derivatives of logarithms: there are a couple of useful identities on logarithms to remember. In particular:

1. The logarithm of a product is the sum of the logarithms
2. The logarithm in an arbitrary base a can be expressed using natural logarithms in a simple way

It is also worth remembering that the logarithm is only defined for strictly positive numbers.
