SVBluetooth
What is svbluetooth ?
svbluetooth is a python library with some helper scripts to do some common bluetooth task in an easy way. There is not much in it (yet). It mainly contains code to transfer files to my mobile phone.

svbluetooth is available both as a Pacman package (x86_64 only), or in source form. For source or Pacman installation, please refer to the Generic download and install instructions.
Sending/receiving file to a mobile phone
You can use scripts from svbluetooth. I have only tested them on a nokia 6600, but they should work with a lot of other phones as well. When receiving file, some phones might not work if you are not discoverable.
To send files, do:
nokia6600-send file1 [file2 ...]
The file is sent to the bluetooth MAC address given in the $HOME/.nokia6600-addr file.
To receive files, do:
nokia6600-receive [nfiles] [directory]
This waits until n files are received in directory (or the current directory if this is not specified), and then quits. This does not work well when some transactions are aborted. Remember that you can always use ctrl-c to abort the program.
Synchronizing contacts
I am too lazy to setup a serious system: here is how I do it using my nokia 6600 that cannot send more than one contact in a single vcard. I have a repository named phonebook in which I collect all my vcards.
There is one vcard for each contact, the vcards are named after the name of the contact in the file, e.g if I have a vcard describing the "John" contact, then the file will be named John.vcf
When I have a new contact on the phone, I send it to the computer and vice-versa. Sending a vcard from the phone to the computer can be eased up using the script which is in the phonebook repository:
./receive-vcards.py
And in another terminal:
nokia6600-receive 6000 .
Then just send the vcards with your mobile phone, they will be automatically renamed according to the format defined above. When done, Ctrl-c receive-vcards.py .
